Honor is a powerful word. If a man has Honor he has achieved favor in the eyes of the Living GOD.
One definition of Honor is: "To show high respect, as that shown for special merit; or high esteem; Kept in high regard;:" The honor shown to a Nobel or person of importance." .
Honor is much more than just the simple definition above. Honor is a powerful tool to magnify God. Honor is an action word. Honor is in motion. Honor is the process of doing. It is impossible to have Honor unless you first give it. When you give Honor you have become eligible to receive Honor back. Honor is a powerful act of Humility and proof you hold one in a high regard. Honor is much more than just words you can speak, it is also a feeling of reverence or favor held in the heart and mind of the giver toward the one who is the receiver. Honor is similar to love, you can only get it by giving it away. God has said in his word that he that Honors his mother and father may have a long life.
One of the most important things you can ever do in your life is to Honor God. When you Honor the One True Living God, you open up a door to receive Honor on an unprecedented scale that is unmatched by any other. God who has made every living thing and every thing not living is the creator and master of all. God is more than Able to do All things. If you step out on faith and Honor God above everything in your Life, then you will most certainly find Favor in the Eyes of God. Let me say that no one in this world can Honor you like God can. Remember that you cannot have Honor unless you first give it.
Once you give Honor to God you have started the processes and have become eligible to receive it back. For Gods word says in Matthew 6-6 When you Honor God in secret, he will reward you openly.
